Astaxanthin Combined With Omega-3 Fish Oil Makes For a Potent Antioxidant

Recently, while going through some literature, I came across a study that might interest you. The focus was on the combination of Omega-3 fish oil with astaxanthin.

Although the findings don’t present anything entirely new, they do reinforce the points we considered when developing Xtendlife Omega 3 / DHA Plus and Omega 3 / QH Premium CoQ10 fish oil products. Both of these contain astaxanthin along with lycopene, which pairs well with astaxanthin. I suspect that if lycopene had been included in the study, the results might have been even more promising.

This study which you can see byclicking here demonstrates the beneficial properties of reducing oxidative stress andboosting lymph node health by simply taking omega-3 fish oil and astaxanthin (a powerful natural antioxidant).

Omega-3 and Astaxanthin for Overall Health

While not a groundbreaking discovery, this study adds to the growing evidence that omega-3 fish oil and astaxanthin support cardiovascular and skin health, reduce inflammation, improve mental wellbeing, and may help prevent neurodegenerative conditions.

We have additional studies and robust clinical data on our site showcasing the numerous health benefits of astaxanthin and fish oil. If you have a few minutes, I encourage you to browse through them; they make for a compelling read. You can explore them by clicking here.

As far as I’m aware, Xtendlife is the only manufacturer combining astaxanthin and lycopene with Omega-3 fish oil. While krill oil does contain some astaxanthin, the amount is small, and manufacturers typically top it up with additional astaxanthin from the same source that we use. However, even with this added astaxanthin, the levels are similar to those in our products. A drawback of krill oil, however, is that it contains relatively low levels of the Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA.
